John and Christi's Wedding

So anyone who really knows me knows that I dont have much of a delay on things. Exspecially things I am excited about. Yes, it is almost midnight and I am up editing some pictures for John and Christi and I really wanted to get some on here, because they are so stinkin cute! I wasnt thier "offical" photographer, (thank goodness!) but I did take some really cute ones if I dont say so myself. :) The whole weekend was great. Christi's family was awesome. We had some good times getting to know everyone and hanging out with the fam. I have to say, I am going to miss some of the new friends I have made. Thank goodness for facebook right? :) Anyway...for the day starting out being 60% chance of rain, it was beautiful. No rain at all for the ceremony(which was outside at my aunt and uncle's beautiful home! Thanks Julie and Kevin!) It was ideal for an outdoor wedding...well..I guess a few clouds would have been nice from the heat, but it was really ideal. Christi looked absoultly beautiful. You know when you see a couple and you just know they were made for eachother...well they were it. They couldnt be more right for eachother. Everything was beautiful. For dinner, we went to Via Maria which was also great. All in all...beautiful day...beautiful couple...Awesome day. God is good. He continues to bless our family and we are blessed again to have another great addition to the family...I guess technically 2 new additions counting my little nephew Silas due in October. They will be great parents, and I am sure have a great marriage. Congradulations John and Christi. Cheers!

Weekend

This weekend I must say was one of the best in a long time. Not even because we did so much because we really didnt. I think that is what makes it so nice!! Friday night Ryan and I went downtown and ate dinner at New Holland (with Evan of course!) and walked down to coldstone for ice cream. Nothing too exciting, but nice and relaxing. We came home and pretty muched chilled out the rest of the night. Saturday i worked..(ugh) while Evan and Ryan had thier daddy day. I got home and we went and got new cell phones! Same number, we just switched from Nextel to sprint again. We should be saving about 30 bucks a month. Anything helps! We got home and sat down to watch a pretty spooky movie. "Untraceable" with Diane Lane. It was pretty good. Kinda a no brainer though. Anyway-went to bed on time and it was great. Sunday of course went to church and ended up in the parent room again. Gotta love that room. It is great being able to go in there with other parents and let your kid be himself. It is nice too because I have actually gotten to know some more people from our church more by being a parent now. :) it is kinda nice. I have always wanted to join a small group but right now would be so hard working the nights I do. Hopefully soon. Anyway...that about covers it. We went to Matt and Lisa's house tonight for Jacob and Gracie's birthday party. Kinda low key but it was still nice. Hope your weekend was great too!!

Sick baby continued...

I feel so bad for my little man. He has been fighting this for a week now. I took him monday to the doctor and he got on some medication, which didnt work, so I took him back today and now he is on a nebulizer. I feel so bad for him. He really doesnt mind it, he actually kinda thinks its funny and laughs, but everytime he laughs, he goes into a coughing fit. Thankfully, when I do his treatment, it isnt a mask, like some kids have to wear, it is just a tube that mists infront of his face so he doesnt feel sufocated. Anyway..thought I would update you with my little boy's illness. Have a great weekend!

I've been playing around more with my camara and want to get into photography more and more. I am hoping to take a class the next time one is available, but I thought these turned out adorable and thought I'd share.

Sick baby

The last couple days have brought me to new levels of motherhood. I cant even count how many times i have been thrown up on. Evan is really sick. I took him to his doctor this morning, and they did a breathing treatment to open up his airways a little bit. She said with these kind of virus's sometimes babies airways get swollen when they are sick. That really helped, but he is still coughing all the time which means he cant keep anything down because he coughs so hard it all comes back up...and more. :( I feel so bad for the little guy. I wear my mom badge proudly today. You know you are a mom when being thrown up on so many times a day still doesnt bother you. Poor baby.

Best Ever Paci Clips

I got a really cute idea on some really nice pacifier clips. I bought the ones in the stores and they never ever would stay on Evan. I made some of these up and it works GREAT! If you need any or would like to buy any, I am selling them for $6 or 2 for $10. I love them! I have a bunch of differnt colors and designs.

Niece's Day

My sister is a very busy lady. She always has kids over at her house so I asked her if I could steal my nieces for the day so she could have some time to herself. We ended up going to Windmill Island and it was really a lot of fun. The girls (hannah and grace) had a blast riding the carosal (SP?) and looking at all the differnt things to see. It really was fun. Afterward we went for ice cream. It was really hot but we all had fun. Evan even did good.

Fatty

My son is fat. I went to the doctor yesterday because he had an ear infection last week and he was getting a re-check, they weighed him and he gained 3 pounds in a month! I know it is because I just recently started feeding him formula. It was really hard for me, but I had to seeing how I wasnt cutting it. He went from being this petite little guy to a little man with rolls! However, he still is on the smaller side for his age, to me he looks so big! Anyways-Have a nice day!

Horrible Weekend

Well...what can I say...some weekends are better than others. It actually started last week when we turned our air on. I knew it wasnt working right, but Ryan thought we would give it a day. Well...it turned out it was actually broken from the begining. Saturday Ryan and his dad did our underground sprinkling while his mom watched Evan for me. She realized it wasnt working and that is when Ryan finally called the repair guy. They came out that night and fixed it. Well...while they were doing the underground, the hit a gas line. UGH. They had to call Semco out and fix that. I cant wait to get that bill. This is the least of it so far. We went to Todd and Sarah's only to come home in the storm and find our entire road is flooded which I blogged about yesterday. We ended up staying up til about 2:30 watching our nieghbors get stuck and unstuck with thier cars, and eventually having the excavater coming out at 1am to dig a trench to get rid of some of the water. Meanwhile...Ryan went in our basement for something and noticed some water by our plumbing pipes. It turns out our pipe has a hairline crack in it, so we have been without water since Saturday! Our house is brand new! We shouldnt have these issues. Anyway...that I think covers it. It just seems like one thing after another. I wonder what next weekend will bring. The only good thing though about this weekend is that we found out my brother John and his fiance are having a baby boy! We are very excited, but goodness! That makes 5 boys in a row for our family! We could start a little league team.

Flood

So God promised not another flood right? Wow! We came home from our friends house at about 10:30 tonight and this is what we find. It is a MIRACLE we made it in the drive way. Seriously...it was about 3 feet deep with water, and up to the hood of our car. I of course was in tears. Right now, it is 12:18 exactly and Ryan is outside with our nieghbors helping get an SUV unstuck(Is that a word?) Anyway, I have video of it, maybe I will post it, but this is CRAZY!!!! There is no reason why there has to be this much stinkin water in the roads!!!! I dont really know if I should cry or laugh. Someone did something wrong with our drain system in our sub divison. Everyone in our nieghborhood is pissed. Our excavater for the nieghborhood just showed up acting confussed. Sorry for sounding mad...but we are! There is a lot of damage to our lawns, even this SUV they just pulled out...all Ryan's hard work with the wood chips and everything are flooded, and our plants. UUGH. Anyways--Ryan just came in...

What I wouldnt do for a Starbucks coffee

Someone seriously has to stop me. I cant help myself! I am SO addicted it is rediculous. (SP?) Its like I get this thought in my head..."emm a starbucks sounds good..." and once it is in my head, there is no escaping it. I just HAVE to get one! Are there starbucks addicts support groups? I think I need one.

It's been a long time!

Wow...crazy, I havent really posted in a while. I guess I have just been busy. I dont really know with what because not much has changed in my life, but with the weather nicer, I have been finding more to do with my time. Our landscaping is getting there. I would say it is almost finished. We literlly have a forest in our yard. I will post some pictures once it is all done. Ryan and his dad are doing our underground sprinkling on Saturday. That will be intresting. Not much else is new, just work work work. It seems like it is always something.
My brother's weddings are drawing closer! John and Christi are getting married the 28th of this month, so we are really excited about that, and I really think they are ready for it to be over! So much planning. And then there is the brother we never thought would propose! Wendi and Dave are getting married August 8th! Wendi is so on top of everything already. She is so organized. So, it will be a fun summer with all the weddings.
Not much else going on...tomorrow I think we are having a pool day at my sister Lisa's and then saturday night seeing some friends. Exciting life eh?
